On February 6, U.S. labour market monthly data was released. Even though the unemployment rate increased from 5.6 percent to 5.7 percent, greater attention was drawn to upbeat data on new jobs. Nonfarm payrolls climbed 257,000 versus forecast 231,000. It is worth noting that December's data was revised from 252,000 to 329,000.
After the data was released, the U.S. dollar strengthened sharply. The NZD/USD currency pair decreased by 98 pips in 5 minutes which allowed to make up to $1470, with trading one lot!
