December's Canadian and U.S. labour market data were released. The U.S. unemployment rate fell from 5.8% to 5.6%, and the nonfarm payrolls showed an increase by 252,000. The unemployment rate in Canada remained at 6.6%, and the number of the employed dropped by 4,300.
Following the positive U.S. and neutral Canadian data, the USD/CAD currency pair strengthened rapidly. The pair gained 73 pips in 20 minutes, which allowed to make up to $922, with trading one lot!
