1480$ in an hour

Statement by ECB Representative B. Coeure

The euro sharply weakened against other major currencies after unexpected revelations of Benoit Coeure (France), Member of the Executive Board of the ECB, that the central bank will increase its operations under the QE program in terms of bond purchases in June and July twice as much, as the market will be illiquid in August, and it may also lower its deposit rate.
On 19 May, 2015, the euro depreciated against the US dollar by 148 pips within an hour, which allowed to make $1480 by a sell position, with trading one lot.
